- Cut pumpkin and onions into desired size.
- Heat wok, add in more oil, garlic and shallots.
- Then, sauté the onion first. When it turns soft then add pumpkin and fry.
- Put pumpkin in a pot and add in water.
- Boil for 30 minutes. When the pumpkin is soft, turn heat to simmer position.
- If you have a hand blender, blend the pumpkin with a hand blender. If have blender which cannot support heat, leave the pumpkin soup to cool under the fan for half an hour then blend it with a blender.
- Add in appropriate amount of milk.
- Add in appropriate amount of salt & pepper.
- Boil for 5-10minutes.
