What are the preparation before going into pre school(kindergarden)

Books for child 3 years old and above. Mostly bought from Popular bookstore at Tun Jugah, Kuching by my mother. Range from story books, workbook, coloring book and etc. My mother indeed bought a lot of books, toys and other items for Emily. My mother comes to my house during weekdays to help me. If my husband go outstation, she will stay overnight.

A plastic chair to sit on for eating, reading, writing and coloring. She now knows how to color and write. However, Emily is still not fluent in speaking Mandarin and English. However, I teach her words by words after my mother told me that kindergarden children like Krista are able to communicate in sentence such as Teacher, I want to go to toilet! or in mandarin.

CDs of Elmo, Mickey Mouse, 童童欢乐园, 翻版CDs and etc. Learn ABC with Elmo while sing and dance. Varieties of CD bought by my husband up to RM100 and above. My daughter can sing and dance along with the music especially songs in 童童欢乐园 and Twinkle twinkle little star.

She watch Astro Disney junior at all times. This includes Elmo, Mickey mouse and 小太阳 channel.

Learning ABC capital letters and small letters plus 1,2,3 with the help of ABC fun toy. Capital letters and 1,2,3 ABC learning tools bought from Parkson, Viva City, while both Capital letters and small letters ABC learning tools bought from Farley, Kota Samarahan. She too are familiar with numbers starting 11-20.

This is where my husband plans to send my daughter for kindergarden. It is conducted in English language. From what I see, school bags and pencil case are included. My mother told me from her experienced beware of items lost or then returned mostly never because children tends to got mix up easily and mistook other's belongings, from stationary especially pencils, ruler(no use) and eraser, bags, socks, spare home bought clothings like pants, shoes and etc, so don't bring expensive things there. Just bring 2 pencils and eraser is enough. Water bottle and food are to be placed in a small basket to be put at the pantry. Coloring pencil too are keen to be borrowed by others even teachers if it is of a big box. Girl panties have to be bought from Parkson or sox world for never seen a cheaper one. REMEMBER to write your child's name on all her belongings, especially every color pencil. For break time, children bring a piece of biscuit, fruits like a piece of apple and etc.
