My mum got this receipy from a teacher, her teaching colleague in primary school years ago. She just amend her own receipy and add a little bit of milkmaid. I got the idea of adding lemon grass from this receipy book Wickedly Hot by Eric Neo.
- Marinate the beef with 1 tablespoon of milkmaid, dark soy sauce& light soy sauce.
- Heat the frying wok with oil. Add in garlic, shallots, ginger &lemon grass.
- Add in the marinated beef.
- Stir fry for a while and add in water.
- Add in another tablespoon of milkmaid, salt &cili padi. Add in more dark soy sauce if you like it in dark color.
- Cook until the beef is fully cooked.
